Since 2019, Scale Collaborative has hosted Connect Money Impact. This annual event brings together social entrepreneurs, impact investors, and ecosystem builders working on today’s most pressing challenges.

Connect Money Impact explores topics relevant to social entrepreneurship, impact investment, and ecosystem building to understand how capital, business, and community can work together to create lasting positive impact through innovative ideas, meaningful collaboration, and stronger, more resilient communities.

Each event offers sessions within three learning streams—for entrepreneurs, investors, and, ecosystem builders. Attendees are encouraged to select the categories and streams they identified with most to participate in the conversations most valuable to them.

Connect Money Impact 2025 Campbell River was convened by Scale Institute. The event brought together social entrepreneurs, impact investors, community leaders, and ecosystem builders in Campbell River for a day of learning, collaboration, and connection around impact investing, access to capital, Indigenous-led innovation, community ownership, housing, climate solutions, and sustainable local economies.

Connect Money Impact 2019 Nanaimo was convened by Scale Collaborative. The event brought together social entrepreneurs, non-profits, businesses, co-ops, impact investors, and financial professionals for a day focused on building financial capacity, becoming pitch ready, and connecting enterprises with impact investors. The program explored different types and sources of capital, preparing for investment, and social procurement, culminating in a strategically designed reception connecting social enterprises with potential investors and other financial partners.
